Measurements: Height: 12 1/8" Width: 8 3/8" Chinese Qing blue monochrome glazed porcelain moon vase. Potted in a compressed globular body, tapered gracefully toward narrow spherical neck gently wider and bulbous under the rim, leading to a narrow opening, raised on concaved oval foot base. Two curved ribbon handles flanked from shoulder to the neck. All reserved in cobalt blue under glazed with densely dusted clear speckles, thinning to greyish at mouth-rim and edges. The clay is fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth, brilliant with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The under-base bears a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
