A Chinese agate snuff bottle dating from the 18th century and with a green stone stopper. The snuff bottle features a stylized bamboo motif. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 2 1/8 inches wide; 7 cm tall X 5.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition with natural seams and fissures to the stone. Provenance: From Mr. Kung in Vancouver, Canada, by descent from his father, who acquired it in Hong Kong and had it shipped to Canada before 1970.
