A Chinese carved rock crystal snuff bottle dating from the 18th century. The snuff bottle is carved with a ribbed design and has a pink tourmaline stopper with a spoon. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 3/4 inches wide; 7 cm tall X 4.4 cm wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The stone has natural fissures and some mild cracks, but is in otherwise good condition. Provenance: From Mrs. Platz of Northern Virginia.
