An Ottoman Brocade Embroidery North West Anatolia, late 19th cent. Delicate brocade embroidery in different techniques, with gold, silver and copper threads on linen, central medallion with mosque motif, surrounded by floral motifs and ornamental borders. Possibly made in Bursa, the centre of Ottoman brocade embroidery. Slight traces of age, partially oxidated. Framed. 117 x 113 cm. - Osmanische Brokat-Stickerei Nordwestanatolien, Ende 19. Jh. Aufwändige Brokat-Stickerei in verschiedenen Techniken, mit Gold-, Silber-, und Kupferfäden auf Leinengrund, zentrales Medaillon mit Motiv einer Moschee, umrahmt von floralen Motiven und Ornamentbordüren. Vermutlich in Bursa gefertigt, dem Zentrum osmanischer Brokat-Stickerei. Geringe Altersspuren, etw. oxidiert. Gerahmt. 117 x 113 cm. -
