Delicate brocade embroidery with gold, silver and copper threads on linen, with central Ottoman Thugra motif, surrounded by floral and ornamental pattern. Possibly made in Bursa, the centre of Ottman brocade embroidery. Slight traces of age, min. oxidation. 104 x 102 cm. - Osmanische Brokat-Stickerei Nordwestanatolien, Ende 19. Jh. Kunstvolle Brokatstickerei mit Gold,- Silber,- und Kupferfäden auf Leinengrund, mit zentralem osmanischen Tughra-Motiv, umgeben von floralen und ornamentalen Motiven. Vermutlich in Bursa gefertigt, dem Zentrum osmanischer Brokat-Stickerei. Geringe Altersspuren, etw. oxidiert. 104 x 102 cm. -
