Reaugh." 8 3/8" x 16 1/2" Note: Inspired by many artists, the present Frank Reaugh pastel is a good example of the artist's early work and the influence of Dutch Realist Anton Mauve (1838-1888). Frank Reaugh spent defining early years studying in Europe from approximately 1884-1889 before moving to Texas. The present work is an important predecessor to his later much beloved Texas works.
