A GRECO-ROMAN STYLE MARBLE SCULPTURE, "Venus Pudica," POSSIBLY 1ST-4TH CENTURY AD, the classical style white marble torso of nude female with elegant jugular notch over slight shoulders framing apple breasts to a naturally rendered belly and hip curve; her back bends slightly forward revealing dimples of Venus above her callipygous steatopygia; she stands in contrapposto, now mounted on an ebonized wood stepped square plinth base, likely modeled after the Aphrodite of Menophantos.
