A GROUP OF THREE NATIVE AMERICAN PUEBLO BLACK POTTERY WARES, BY TERESITA NARANJO AND JUANITA GONZALEZ, SANTA CLARA AND SAN ILDEFONSO PUEBLOS, NEW MEXICO, SIGNED, CIRCA 1960, comprising a carved black pottery bowl with rounded sides centering a deep relief frieze of stylized scrolling geometric details, verso signed "Teresita Naranjo Santa Clara Pue.," height: 3 3/4", diameter: 7 1/2"; the small matt black on burnished black jar with repetitive geometric shaped triangle and hook banding, verso signed "Juanita," height: 2 3/4", diameter: 3"; and the matt black on burnished black wide mouthed bowl of compressed circular form and a collar of continuous dotted triangles enclosed by stepped pyramids, verso signed "Juanita," height: 2", diameter: 4 3/4". Note: Teresita Naranjo (1909-1999) of the Santa Clara Pueblo, New MexicoJuanita Gonzalez (1909-1988) born into the Taos Pueblo but later in 1933 moved to the San Ildefonso Pueblo after marrying Luis Gonzalez who was a native of that pueblo.
