Wang Xuetao (1903--1982), a native of Cheng'an, Hebei, formerly known as Ting Jun, Zi Xiaofeng and Chi Yuan, a famous modern Chinese freehand flower and bird painter. He has successively served as the President of the Beijing Academy of Painting , a member of the Chinese Artists Association , a vice chairman of the Beijing Branch of the American Artists Association , a representative of the Seventh People's Congress of Beijing, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fifth CPPCC, a member of the Central Liaison Committee of the China Peasant and Democratic Party and a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee. He has authored Wang Xuetao's Paintings, Wang Xuetao's Paintings, Wang Xuetao's Paintings, and Wang Xuetao's Paintings of Flowers and Birds.
