Of square section with indented corners, each finely painted in soft pastel tones of green, pale blue, yellow with scholar-literati scenes, one side with a scholar crossing a over a bridge beneath towering mountains, another side with a scholar seated inside a pavilion, the third with a fisherman seated in skiff with his rod cast, the fourth side with a scholar contemplating along the banks of a river, each bordered by raised outlines, all below a band of pendant lotus flowers at the rim, the base inscribed with a six-character seal mark.
