Xuande Mark and of the period. The interior centered with a medallion enclosing a carp and a mandarin fish swimming amongst clumps of lotus and water weeds, the exterior similarly rendered with four fish alternating with lotus leaves, pods and blooms, all reserved against a rich cobalt-blue ground, the base left white and inscribed with a six-character Xuande mark reign within a double circle, with a fitted box.
