Large Chinese Ming gilt bronze censer. Resplendent Zhengde censer forged in bronze. Potted in globular body, with tall, thick lid rim, and wide open flaring rim. The footing protrudes from the bottom of the censer mating to corresponding grooves located on a flat round foot ring on a base. Two Lion mask emerged from the neck create handles. The neck carved with scrolling ruyi ang archaic flying phoenix. Crusted brown-gold patina covers the vessels body.
