Majestic, Chinese 17/18th Century Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng double ears porcelain square Zun vase. The Finest porcelain stoutly potted of squared baluster body, large, thick and tall, with cornered shoulder gently waisted toward flaring rim and square opening, slightly flaring opening mouth lip, raised on countersunk flat base, slight deep concave under base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in grayish white underglaze base color which contrast against the GE design color. Distinctive "GE" crackled glaze also known as jinsitiexian which translates to mean gold floss and iron thread which details the look of several lines that appear in the crackled surface. Grayish white stoneware glaze with an intentionally closely crackled glaze, Copied ever after and particularly popular in the early 20th Century, then often in combination with brown unglazed molded or incised borders or applications.
