题识：杏子坞老民齐璜白石老人制。钤印：白石翁、大匠之门说明说明：齐白石之画，愈老愈佳，八十岁后已入化境，《葡萄蚱蜢》为画家晚年典型的大写意风格，约绘于上世纪四十年代中期。葡萄与蚱蜢均是白石老人熟习、擅绘之题材，此作以湿润的阔笔写叶片，浓墨枯笔写藤蔓，酣畅痛快、老笔纷披；兼以没骨法圈出葡萄，果实透明欲滴。蚱蜢伏于上方藤蔓上，画法近于写意而造型严谨，其虫须腿足，用笔劲健老道，既为全局点睛之笔，又为画面增添勃勃生机。齐白石晚年喜钤“大匠之门”印章，最早见用于三十年代的画作中，本幅所钤者常加盖于四十年代中期作品上。
