出版：《画坛圣手吴湖帆》第119页，上海书画出版社，2012年5月《海派百年代表画家系列作品集·吴湖帆》第116页，上海书画出版社，2013年7月著录：《吴湖帆年谱》第470页，东方出版中心，2017年7月题识：戏写万松叠翠一角，以为艾青同志方家雅正，吴湖帆，癸巳六月。 钤印：倩盦说明纪录：苏富比香港，2003年10月27日，编号264说明：《万松叠翠》绘赠著名诗人艾青（1910-1996）。1953年3月，艾青赴浙江搜集创作素材，返程停留上海，是作即应得于此时。1950年代初期吴湖帆常以角花笺填词作画，分赠门人友好，《万松叠翠》墨韵丰富，气息润泽，画家选用角花笺为画材，与纯水墨的画面相得益彰，别具韵致。
