A Prolific and detailed writer describing ports of call, conditions and the Natives. Letters include U.S. Representatives recommendation for acceptance for Brown to attend the Navy War College at Annapolis Md, 1910, Certificate of Graduation from Annapolis, shipboard photographs of the USS Florida during WWI, earlier family papers include 1870s Newport Artillery Co. Certificates, various wills and land deeds.
