A Chinese 3 layer cinnabar cinquefoil box dating from the 19th century. The lid depicts 10 figures playing music beneath a pine tree, while the sides feature a hexagonal floral motif. Dimensions are: 4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: A number of cracks in the sides of the lid, some minor chipping to the interior.
