A FINE TABRIZ CARPET, NORTH-WEST PERSIA approx; 12ft.10in. x 9ft.10in.(392cm. x 299cm.) The filed with overall design of large multi-coloured palmettes, floral vases, angular vine and delicate floral tendrils. All surrounded by palmette, fleur-de-Lys and floral sprays between flowering vine and reciprocal stripes. This carpet has good pile. Colours are well blended. Both selvages are rebound, well done. Ends with short fringes secured. Lovely furnishing piece.
