Peterson is considered one of the most prolific female painters in Americanhistory. Among the artists she studied with were Matise & Picasso. Durring the early part of the century she travelled with Louis Comfort Tiffany on exhibits and her popularity grew, today her works can bring as high as $30,000. This first one we offer today is on canvas and shows what she was noted for which is floral studies on still life. Signed lower left, and measures 25" X 30 1" plus what appears to be original frame.
