Peter (Finkelstein) Max (AMERICAN / NEW YORK / GERMANY, born 1937) four piece "Liberty Head" Acrylic over serigraph suite depicting the head of the Statue of Liberty in various color patterns. Serigraphs were completed in framing with a hand painted acrylic accented rim attached to matting. Each has Has matching black lacquered wooden frames with black mat behind acrylic screen. All pieces signed to lower right "Max" and numbered176/300. All works also with two embossed seals to lower left. Serigraphs measure approx. 19" height x 17 1/4" width (48.3cm x 43.8cm) to sight. Measures approx. 31 3/4" height x 30" width (80.6cm x 76.2cm) overallincluding frame. Includes California Fine Arts Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and Appraisal showing a value of $11,000.00; dated June 27, 1997 and signed by Gallery Director Janet Swahn. Also includes"Liberties" pamphlet anticipating the release of the suite.
