Stunning nephrite white jade censer with gilt bronze lid & stand. White jade carved in shaped censer, in bulbous slight tall shaped body, wider on the gallery mouth, raised on the low cylindrical gilt bronze flat foot. The main body carved by auspicious pattern to opening small cavity. Having open work carving gilt bronze dome lid, of dragon in the center of Scrolling twigs foliage and floral foliate toward circumference. The carving are superb, finely polished plain exterior, simply design yet elegant. The jade shows reddish pale-celadon color, displays smooth and moist appearance all over surfaces with the attractive golden-russet sporadic inclusions. A portion of this high-grade Jade is considered quite rare. Expert workmanship is the absolute highlight of this gorgeous censer. The jade censer preciously presented upon a carved gilt bronze stand.


The underside bears a reign mark, protruding characters; Made In The Years of Qianlong Emperor Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
