A FINE KASHAN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA approx: 6ft.11in. x 4ft.4in.(211cm. x 132cm.) The sea-blue field with delicate floral and leafy vine together with bold palmettes and boteh motifs. In stylised frame border of similar design and large floral vases between flowering vine stripes. Touches of slight localized wear to the top pile in few small places, barely visible. Fine weave, 7 x 6 knots per sq. cm. Ends and selvages secured. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Attractive.
