A FINE PART SILK TABRIZ RUG, NORTH-WEST PERSIA approx: 6ft.8in. x 5ft.1in.(204cm. x 155cm.) The ivory field with stylised herati design. Central double apricot medallion with centrepiece containing similar pattern. In stylised turtle-palmette border between floral and barber-pole stripes. This rug has full pile, good wool quality. Ends and selvages are original. Fine weave, approx: 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is on very good condition throughout.
