Pair of Large Chinese Langyao Underglaze Red Porcelain Vases the glaze with patches of flambe, the thick glaze draining from the mouth and with glaze over-run to unglazed bases. One vase with small restored chip to mouth, the other with a short star crack from the mouth, both with polish and normal chipping at the base from the original firing, surface of both with even, tiny glaze flakes from the original firing. Height of slightly larger vase 22 1/4 inches (56.5 cm.).
