Chinese Art Deco Silver Dresser Set; 5 Pieces: a beveled glass hand mirror with a long handle, the top edge of a comb, a long handled hair brush with bristles, and 2 oval brushes with bristles. Each piece of silver hallmarked "Mei JI" with a design of flowers in an art deco frame and the surfaces with a hand-hammered patina. Light age related wear to silver, 3 brush inserts lose, bristles irregular. Length of hand mirror 11 1/2 inches (29.3 cm.). Length of long handled brush 9 3/8 inches (23.8 cm.). Comb top 8 1/4 inches (21 cm.). Length of 2 oval brushes 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm.). Provenance: From a New England Collector.
