Two enameled porcelain snuff bottles19th/early 20th centry
The first a circular bottle with a pale-brown washed lip, its recessed foot inscribed with a Jiaqing mark, but of late 19th/early 20th century, the convex reserve on each main side decorated with figures in an interior setting, enclosed by floral bands in underglaze blue on the narrow sides; the second a bulbous bottle with a Daoguang mark and of the period, painted in black ink and colored enamels with a katydid on one side, opposed with another katydid atop an overturned cage, the underside inscribed with the four-character mark in iron-red seal script.
