|参阅：《故宫博物院》，紫禁城出版社，页121。||此镜心明黄色缎地，中间盘金绣一五爪正龙，周围同样用盘金绣法绣出八条行龙。下绣锦地纹，并用金线细细一层一层圈出花叶轮廓，色彩绚丽，并作退晕处理，深浅变幻过渡自然。|整件作品构图流畅、规范，使用了盘金、齐针、戗针、接针等多种平绣技法，绣工精美绝伦，工艺高超，走丝若运笔，龙之形神具备，磅礴气势扑面而来，为典型的宫廷绣品。从其颜色和花纹来看，应是帝后所用的实用物品。保存完整，具有较高的观赏价值、艺术价值和收藏价值。北京故宫博物院太极殿内景宝座靠背为山字形靠垫，可为参考。
