With deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, finely painted on the exterior with four roundels enclosing chrysanthemum blooms borne on leafy stems, two medallions further rendered with smallerflorets, including asters, all reserved on a blue sgraffiato ground picked out with feathery scrolls and enamelled with with multi-coloured floral strapwork, the base with six-character Qianlong mark.
