Meiji/Taisho eraA large flat-based bowl, the interior covered in splashed and layered green-brown glazes, ten figures of peasant women and men applied to exterior variously modelled as if gazing or climbing into a fishpond, 38cm wide; on a black and gilt lacquer stand of square form and raised on four supports, decorated with scrolling foliage motif, 36cm x 36.5cm x 14.7cm.(2).
