A Chinese red ground robe dating from the 19th century. It is embroidered with blue flowers and butterflies. It has a rock and wave motif on the bottom. The interior of the sleeve cuffs are embroidered with ornate landscapes in the forbidden stitch. Dimensions are: 44 3/4 inches long X 65 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.
