A Chinese woven wicker basket dating from the 19th century. The basket has 2 sections, and the bamboo handle is carved on either side with 2 phoenixes, a scene of a woman and man with a ruyi wand, and a bat with peaches. Dimensions are: 13 inches tall X 10 inches wide X 10 inches deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are splits to the wood lining the interior and to the bamboo.
