Two overlay decorated glass snuff bottles


19th century The first carved through a layer of black overlay to an opaque pink ground, displaying monkeys, peach sprigs, and insects; the second a semi-transparent dark blue bottle with applied opaque green overlay, carved around the walls with two vigorous dragons chasing a flaming pearl above roaming waves.2 5/16 and 2 7/8in (5.8 and 7.3cm) high
