Two inside-painted glass snuff bottles
Zhang Guangzhong (b. 1945) and Li Kechang (b. 1942), both dated 1976The first painted with a portrait of Liu Zongyuan, the writer and poet during the Tang dynasty, inscribed to both sides, dated 1976 in Chinese, signed to one side 'Guangzhong'; the second painted depicting the calligrapher from the Jin dynasty, Wang Xizhi, and a monk, inscribed to both sides, dated bingchen (1976), signed Li Kechang, with seal marks. 2 1/4 and 2 5/16in (5.7 and 5.8cm) high
|Li Kechang and Zhang Guangzhong, both born in Shandong province, are considered masters of the Ji School (Shandong School) inside-painting art.
