本品为藏式龙袍，立领，对襟，平袖，左右开裾，袍身以整幅杏黄色地云龙纹妆花织金银缎拼合而成。袍身正面与背面各饰一巨型行龙，龙体片金银织成，金光璀璨，周身缠绕五彩祥云，巨龙张牙舞爪吞吐火珠。两肩至袖亦用同样布料拼接。有清一代将内地生产的大量珍贵纺织匹料赏赐入藏地，西藏贵族取其中华丽者裁剪拼接，依照形制做成藏式龙袍，与一般朝服有别，形成独特的藏袍样式。此藏袍织工繁复，纹饰华丽，保存良好。
