This bold, long-awaited wristwatch features a tourbillon, five-day power reserve indication and a beautifully skeletonised Calibre HUB6016, featuring new bridge and baseplate architecture. The iconic "Big Bang" case is imposing, measuring an impressive 45 mm, and is sculpted from titanium and "King Gold", a redder 18k gold alloy with an increased percentage of copper and platinum devised and used byHublot's metallurgists. Improving on traditional precious metal to enhance performance and appearance and exploring the expansive realm of materials available is at the center of Hublot's "Art of Fusion" philosophy.Appearing at auction for the first time, this rare Hublot "Big Bang Tourbillon King Gold" was made in a limited series, and is numbered 41 out of 99 pieces. From the dial side, one can appreciate the 13.6mm tourbillon cage and the red gold subsidiary dial for the 5-day power reserve display. From the reverse, the sapphire crystal display back reveals a hypnotising movement skeletonised with concentric rings.
