First Quarter 20th century, American. This fine example depicting a rampant lion on a beige and pale indigo ground within a lozenged poly chrome border on an olive green ground. Now mounted on a ridged frame with linen backing. Some repairs above the eye of the lion, minimal and minor thread loss above proper left foreleg. General surface soiling overall.
