白玉墨床所用玉质细润通透，温润白皙，沁色自然，沁色足。外观纹饰精巧，巧以红皮雕琢螭龙纹墨床，龙身蜿蜒，体态修长，富有动势，卷云相托，是工艺与艺术的结合。整器古朴沉重，雕工精湛古朴，值得雅鉴。白玉雕龙觥，玉质白润，雕琢敞口小杯。取意“觥筹交错”的宴饮小器。以龙首为主题，大口喷张，口含小杯。并在口沿饰小螭龙。饰鬃毛、犄角均刻画栩栩如生。博古工艺俱佳，是执握的文房雅器。
