大日如来即毗卢遮那佛，为西藏五方佛之中央尊，表法界体性智，是藏传佛教各个教派密法修行的重要本尊。此尊头束高大扁平发髻，顶置牟尼宝，佩戴五叶形宝冠，双耳饰圆?。身具四面，面庞长圆，眉眼上挑，鼻梁挺括，表情肃穆，仪态端庄。上身躯体袒露，佩戴有各种饰物，双手结禅定印。身体两侧的帔帛呈圆弧状，形似背光，富有装饰美感。下身着长裙，宽松飘逸，结全跏趺坐姿。整像选材优良，镀金亮丽，人物躯体挺拔，造型写实，为15世纪前后卫藏地区造像的传统习惯。莲瓣细长饱满，莲座样式华美规整，也是15世纪卫藏地区造像的显着特征，十分值得收藏。
