此盒为圆柱式，直腹平盖，子母口，盖与盒身结合严密，矮圈足。通体以竹丝纹为地，上雕朱漆花纹，盖面雕一株折枝梅花，枝叶掩映中，盛开梅花点点，旁伴花蕾，盒身亦雕梅花花纹；盒内及底外壁髹黑漆。此盒小巧精致，磨工圆润，雕工精细奇巧，充分表现出梅花的清雅柔美，且此盒漆色纯正，雕漆工艺精湛，纹饰内容饱满，是不可多得之剔红作品。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系-清代漆器》P23 图14
