此瓶以“鸭蛋青”碧玉为材，质地极为细腻，灯下观之几乎不见玉质结构，而颜色亦为纯净无杂。瓶为小口、溜肩、鼓腹，并渐敛至底，肩部饰以乳钉纹一周，乳钉为隐起，毫无突兀之感。瓶身对称饰以双羊首，几组勾形如意纹及线条来表现羊首，颇富匠心。此瓶器型为上圆下方，方圆过渡尤为自然，此类器型在掏膛处理中，对工艺要求较高。且底足细节处理非常到位，为自然内凹，弧度把握极为舒适，以手触之，平整润滑，毫无阻塞之感。此瓶无论是从玉料，抑或是器型、工艺来说，均可圈可点，颇为完美，堪称文房小品之典范。殷建国：苏州玉雕名家
