梅瓶修长挺拔，极为优美。小口，短颈，溜肩，瘦长腹，假圈足。胎体厚重，通体黑釉为地，其上施以褐彩，随意描绘盛开的莲花，意境深远。此式梅瓶，宋、元时期河北磁州窑、河南禹县扒邨等均有生产。有数例相类者，均为海内外博物馆或知名机构收藏，如北京故宫博物院、日本大坂市立美术馆、出光美术馆、日本静嘉堂、茧山龙泉堂等。
