|砚以歙石制，石质细腻温润，石色隐绿，遍布鱼子纹，为墨色细小的点状，分布密集均匀，状如鱼卵，疏朗有致，形仿古琴，作斜通式砚池，砚堂平坦，浅刻如意形纹，背面承二足，均作琴足形，形制规整，刻饰工整。此砚造型古韵悠然，惟妙惟肖，陈于书斋案头，别有一番情趣，当为文房之佳器。
