尺寸：126×62cm 约7平尺
作者简介：潘龄皋(1867-1954)，字锡九，号莺城居士，河北安新人。清光绪21年进士，授翰林院编修。后在甘肃历官知县、知州、知府。辛亥革命后，曾任甘肃省省长，后辞官归里隐居。抗战时移居北平，以鬻字为生，因拒绝出任伪河北省长而被捕入狱，后经友人营救获释。1948年对北京和平解放有所贡献。1949年后任中央人民政府军事委员会参议、中央文史馆馆员。工书法，以行书见长，书风平正清雅。其书与谭延闿齐名，有“南谭北潘”之说。
