尺寸：207×67cm 约12.5平尺
作者简介：海瑞(1514-1587)，字汝贤，号刚峰，海南琼山(今海口市)人。明朝著名清官。海瑞一生，经历了正德、嘉靖、隆庆、万历四朝。嘉靖二十八年(1549年)海瑞参加乡试中举，初任福建南平教谕，后升浙江淳安和江西兴国知县，推行清丈、平赋税，并屡平冤假错案，打击贪官污吏，深得民心。历任州判官、户部主事、兵部主事、尚宝丞、两京左右通政、右佥都御史等职。他打击豪强，疏浚河道，修筑水利工程，力主严惩贪官污吏，禁止徇私受贿，并推行一条鞭法，强令贪官污吏退田还民，遂有“海青天”之誉。万历十五年(1587年)，海瑞病逝于南京官邸。获赠太子太保，谥号忠介。海瑞去世后，关于他的传说故事，民间广为流传。
