品相：历史遗留痕迹 注：本场铜器、铜造像类拍品的铸补、老补、铸钉、铸痕的品相，为该品种铸造工艺，仅做图片展示，不在品相中逐一描述 拍品砚滴，皮壳极为熟旧，亮丽而浑朴。作金蟾昂首，双目圆凸，双耳贴伏，挺其躯而跩一足，身形饱满，脊骨明显，通身以珍珠锦纹状背股之癞疣，不必多施刀凿已形象逼真。 本品形制经典，但较历年拍卖及公私典藏器物更为写实，且形体更为饱满，与北京市文物公司所藏“明•铜蟾形水呈”相同，参见《北京文物精粹大系—工艺品卷（下）》，北京出版社，2003年，页121，图102。
