此碗即为康窑黄地绿彩瓷之美者，造型规矩，外壁满施黄釉，其上以绿彩填绘纹饰。通景绘饰绿龙成双，龙作五爪，身姿矫健，威风凛然。此类黄地绿彩龙纹碗，大多以明正德、嘉靖及万历年间创烧原器纹饰为基准，但本品无论造型与纹饰，皆与传统黄地绿彩「赶珠云龙」纹碗有所不同，为康熙朝罕见作例。同类可参照旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆藏康熙作例，详见《Chinese Ceramics. A New Standard Guide》，伦敦，1996年，图版616；另例可见日内瓦鲍氏旧藏，见录于《Chinese Ceramics in the Baur Collection》，1999年，图版543。
