作者简介：竹禅法师(1825-1901)，僧，号熹公，俗姓王，自称王子。四川梁平人。初出家于本县报国寺，后居上海龙华寺，以卖画为生，甚有声望。工书画，其水墨人物、山水、竹石自成一派，兼工篆刻，题画诗亦佳。多为禅机佛语，与“扬州八怪”齐名。著有《画家三昧》六卷传世。
