本品器型硕大，端庄典雅，线条硬朗，通体施虎皮三彩釉，斑驳错落，别有韵致，抽象的图案极具童真，稚拙中使人愉悦。虎皮三彩创烧于康熙年间，起源于唐三彩，不置红色，因而也叫“素三彩”因其极似虎皮，故而得名，是瓷器中稀少之品种，尤显珍贵。底书大明成化年制六字楷书款。
