本品花口深弧腹圈足，器型玲珑精巧，胎质薄如蝉翼，迎光可透，如若无骨，内壁洁白，外壁施胭脂水釉，娇艳明媚，釉下暗刻花卉及莲瓣纹。胭脂水釉为一种低温釉，为清代康熙年间创烧之新品种，雍正时烧造最为精致，以后各代均有烧造，因其以黄金为着色剂（0.5-0.6%）亦称金红釉釉汁细腻，光润匀净，色如胭脂，故而得名，因其用料昂贵，烧成条件严苛，极为珍贵，所以，胭脂水釉均为官窑产品。本器即为雍正时期胭脂水釉精佳之作，极为稀少，极具收藏价值。
