汉·阮·《为曹公作书与孙权》：“则江表之任，长以相付。高位重爵，坦然可观。”此件坦然壶朱泥为胎，扣之清脆悦耳。器形上下方正，弧线过渡自然。寓示君子处世以方，进退有节，大有心胸广阔海纳百川之意。壶底向上逐渐收敛，呈四方高颈，压盖上棱角分明，方中寓圆，颇具韵味。一弯短方流自壶身自然胥出，蓄势挺拔，飞把转折有度，与全器巧妙融合，方圆有矩，搭配协调。如坦然之名，稳重端庄中又不失变化。郑宁侯：清代康熙年间制陶名艺人。
